Location
This photo is taken a sunday afternoon, walking with my girlfriend in Nuuk, Greenland.Time
During winter the sun sets at around 3pm, we were walking and enjoying the cold weather and the sunset, as we walked by this building i could see the lovely colors from the sun mirroring in the windows. Actually the sun is not shining directly in the windows but in the windows in the building behind me witch then mirrors in the building you see in the picture.Lighting
I really like sunset and sunrise picture an i like them a bit darker than most people so in this picture i i had to keep shutterspeed down to make it as dark as i wanted it.Equipment
The photo was shot with mu Nikon D7000 and mi beloved 18-200mm lens @34mm and f11.Inspiration
The thing that inspired me to take this photo was the sunlight in the windows. We had been walking this route several timen the past week, but i did´nt bring my camera the other days. This day i could see that the weather was correct and i hoped that the sun would be right at the time we would pass this building - and it was :-)Editing
The only thing i did to this photo is a little sharpening and some small cropping. In my camera bag
In my bag i always have my D7000, my Nikon 18-200 Lens og recently i bought a Sigma 60 1:14 DG HSM. Besides i also have my remotecontrol and my Gitzo travel tripod.Feedback
My advice to get a great sunset picture would be to get out in the city or where you are, every day see where the sun is positioned and where you can find some good objects to put in the picture with the sunset or sunrise. And do bring you camera every time, you know for sure that if you dont bring the camera you will have the very best senario that day :-)
