The magnificent (-ly hard to get to) Black Point Fissures on the northern side of Mono Lake, California. Very definitely worth the extraordinarily difficult hike (if you go up the wrong side like we did because the "map" in the parking lot was about as useful as the "follow the footsteps" strategy we employed to find the peak, haha).
