Our eldest grandson, Riley just participated in his 1st communion a few weeks ago. I was so proud of what a young man he is becoming and I was even stunned when a few tears snuck out my eye as he knelt before God and everyone and accepted the eucharist! (I remember quickly wiping the tear away, wondering...now WHERE did that come from?) LOL! I mean, a wedding? a baptism? but 1st communion? I hadn't considered the impact it might have on me. I captured Riley looking over his shoulder and so infused a drawing of Jesus Christ watching over his shoulder---forever, through life.
