This photo was actually taken at my makeup artists studio.Time
It was taken about 4pm and the light was low and through the window, really nice.Lighting
I try to always look for light that exists first.Equipment
This was taken with the Nikon D300 and a 50mm lens shot at f2.2Inspiration
This started out just as a makeup test with the model. After the first photos I let makeup artist just do what she wanted and this is the look she came up with.Editing
I use Aperture and just adjusted the colors some. The images didn't need much work.In my camera bag
I'm a Nikon shooter. I try to keep at least two camera bodies is my bag as well as an assortment of prime lenses. Most images I use a 50mm or an 85mm.Feedback
This image was really about changing my point of view. I spent most of the day at her eye level. I sat down and looked up and was really taken by this angle.
