All good things must come to an end. That's kind what I was going for with this shot. I see so many great pictures of beautiful flowers. I like the idea of trying to make as beautiful a picture as possible of a dead flower. Let me know what you think.

At one time I use to feel sad when a flower was past its beauty and blooming until I realized that the flowers or plants that petals dried up and fell away most were leaving behind a gift for me of seed to carry on for the next season. There is no man made thing that gives me joy like one of my plants or flowers that leave behind seeds for me to plant the next year. The rose will return I just see it as if it is taking a vacation in a way and will return refreshed and even more beautiful and some to even multiply as long as I have nurtured it. :)
