A deep sadness comes over me when I look at this photograph. I had two days off and I parked at the Lombardo rest stop on the New Jersey side of the Hudson. Taking a bus to downtown Manhattan I spent the day sight seeing and taking photographs. This was my second trip up to the observation deck and I took photos of all of New York and sent them home without a thought about the future and what it brings to you. These two towers should never be forgotten as we lost too many innocent Americans on 9-11.
