This was taken in my back yard in Dalton, Ga. On a very beautiful spring day.Time
I was doing some practice shoots from a lesson I was doing on blurred background. I was attending The New York Institute of photography. This was taken at one of my favorite time of day because of the great lighting. Time of day was around 11am.Lighting
I have two times of day that I just love the great lighting I get here in the south, its 11am and 5pm. And even tho my back yard is all shade just enough natural light comes in.Equipment
I used my Canon D, a very special and the last birthday gift I ever received from my mother. My lens was a 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
As I was sitting on the ground taking portraits of flowers to complet my lesson I turn and see my dog sitting and watching me. So I took the moment.Editing

Just let the beauty of everyday life come to you. I wasn't looking for a great photo, I just saw her there with her cuteness and had to have it for always. Just don't over think or over look at the beauty that God has set right in front of you.
