This Photo was taken in Al Eile Stud, near Dungarvan, Waterford. The owner opened the stud to fundraise for the County hurling team, My camera club were invited to document the day and take photos for the visitors as a momento of the day.Time

I have always loved horses, they can be difficult to photograph, so the opportunity to get close to so many beautiful animals was not to be missed.Editing

I generally have 2 A700's one with a 16-105mm F3.5 - 5.6 lens and the other with a 70-200mm F2.8 lens, I always try to bring a trippod and monopod with me, particularly for use with the heavier lens. Plenty of spare batteries and memory cards also a must. the best part of the A700 is that they have dual memory slots for compact flash and memory cards, so plenty of storage for a long days shooting.Feedback
