it certainly is. The day i took this photo there were mushrooms everywhere in the scrub, thankfully these were up in amongst the trees for the ones that were on the pathway ended up being destroyed by children walking past after us. We know this because we had to retrace our steps to look for an item my photography mate thought she had lost. I was so angry with what i saw I wrote a post on one of the forums I follow.

Location
This photo was taken at Main Range National Park, QueenslandTime
Around 2pmLighting
The area was heavily sheltered by bush and it was also an overcast day which allowed me to photograph had held. I now wish I had my tripod with me cause there were so many different types of mushrooms on that trackEquipment

I just love the different colours and shapes of mushrooms. I had never seen do much variety in one place. Always on the lookout for themEditing

I've learnt that mushrooms are difficult to photograph hand held due to the low light, a tripod is a must or at least a small bean bag. Raincoat to either wear or use to lay on the wet ground. Depending on where you are going make sure you have some first aid, water and tell people where you are going.
