Thanks for the follow Trace! Love your image... I have a friend who criticizes my take on macro flower photos which is very similar to yours! Seeing your work gives me confidence... I find these photos very alluring! Must be a matter of taste?

...well, that's what I LOVE about ViewBug and my fellow photographers on this site JudyAnn...they appreciate all genres, and what doesn't appeal to one may appeal to another. Don't worry about it, if you love what you are doing, then I say carry on doing what makes you happy :-)
