I took a photo of a book with the pages moving. I then put it in Photoshop and manipulated it. The colors are basically the same as the original, just saturated. I then added a reflection. Once I did that, I saw the spider, even though the photo was still sideways at the time. I flipped it, and TADA, the book spider was born.
