Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at an ally in the old walled city of Peshawar.

Time

It was in the afternoon with a clear sky.

Lighting

The lighting was not planned. The sun was harsh but the image came out well

Equipment

It was handheld and i used a canon 550D camera having a 50mm f1.8 lens

Inspiration

The inspiration was the wartorn people of Peshawar who suffered at the hands of rampant terrorism. The true peace loving nature of pathans was behind my series of pictures that i took back in the day.

Editing

Minimal processing was done. The image was cropped to create a good composition. Some sharpening and color correction was done in lightroom.

In my camera bag

I dont have a camera bag at all. I take my charged camera out for photography and it almost always has 50mm f1.8 lens. Rarely do i photograph with my other lens, which is tamron 24-70mm on my canon 5D mark II

Feedback

My advice would be to make your compositions perfect. It all comes with practice. You should always have a sketch of a photograph in your mind before capturing one. Create images that you like, not the ones people like.
