I took this picture from my house, I hadn't taken a picture of a rainbow before and wasn't sure how much colour would be picked up,this was taken during a hail storm. I thought that the black sky and the sunshine looked quite dramatic and I was delighted with the results!Time
This photo was taken about 3.30 in the afternoon,blessed with the backdrop and window on the weather.Lighting
I wanted the main focus to be the rainbow,and i'm very happy how it turned out !Equipment
I took this with an Olympus D 720 ,no tripod or lens , I am a great believer in' point and shoot',and see what happens, I never photoshop either! I guess I am the naked photographer!Inspiration
Just seeing an amazing image,and thinking I want to capture that !and my mum ,from the age of about 9yrs, mum would hand me the camera and say" you take the pictures", as she always used to chop the heads off etc,so I did and have been doing it ever since. I am self taught,and love art,nature, colour and beauty.Editing
Nope, I prefer to see images ,as they are, when you take them . Will have a play one day with' post -processing'but at the moment it's not for me ! :)In my camera bag

Take pictures of things you like,chances are if you think something looks amazing,other people will too! The way I see it ,if 100 people look at the same view,we will all see it slightly differently,and that is what I love about it ! Always have a camera to hand ,you never know what you might see next . Clouds and skies are one of my favourite things to photograph, and now rainbows too. Have Fun !
