This picture was taken at Santa Monica pier in Southern California three years ago.Time
It was really late at night when this photo was taken probably around midnight.Lighting
No flash was used, only the light from the Ferris wheel and surrounding lights that were on the pier.Equipment
I took this with my Canon rebel XTI. No tripod was used it was shot handheld.Inspiration
We were walking down the pier and they still have the Ferris wheel lit up, The colors are so beautiful and kept changing so I just stood there until it was completely lit up in really pretty colors.Editing
No postprocessing was done to this picture.In my camera bag
I took this with the first Camera I had and that time I didn't have a camera bag. This was a Camera my brother gave me that was on its way out but still took some good photos.Feedback
My advice would be to not use a flash, keep the camera as steady as possible, and to have patience.
