I took this in the summer of 2013. I was far enough away from city lights to capture the Dark Rift but as soon as some thicker clouds headed my way they seemed to just absorb all the light pollution and bring it into my shot. HAHA of course. Thankfully, though, it turned into a pretty interesting shot... especially since the light bouncing off the clouds makes it look like fire.
