I saw an entire rock video by a band called "Seemed" shot almost completely under water! They sing reggae in German. They call themselves Germacans lol. These shots are wonderful? What camera?

It was in the middle of the day around 1pm.Lighting
All natural lighting.Equipment
I used a point and shoot camera. A Canon Powershot s100 with it's underwater housing. No flash, just all natural lighting. I photographed it with one hand while swimming with the other hand. Haha.Inspiration
My good friend, Maria Sable, is the lead singer of Smooth Dialects (the band in this photo). She is the one holding the microphone. She and her band needed a band photo and we were trying to think of ways that would be interesting and not something seen in every day band photos. So, we decided to try and do an underwater band shot. We went to goodwill and found instruments that did not work anymore, put holes in the back of them and put bricks in them so they would not float back up to the top. Haha.Editing
Yes, I used raw editing. I bumped up the clarity, changed the white balance, added contrast, and reduced the noise. In my camera bag
I usually have a Canon 5D mark ii but that's for my on land pictures. My underwater stuff I use a Canon Powershot s100 with the underwater housing.Feedback
Be prepared to spend most of the day shooting underwater stuff. If you have models, they need to practice "posing" underwater before attempting the actual shoot. They need to be able to open their eyes underwater, relax their face, and hold their breath for more than 5 seconds. It sounds silly but it is so much harder to do than most people think. You and your model need to be completely comfortable being underwater. It is very tiring since you go under water and back up SEVERAL times... especially when you, the photographer, do not have tanks or professional underwater gear. Of course all of this advice is coming from a college student who photographs people in "normal" sized swimming pools with a little point and shoot camera. Nothing professional about the way I shoot these. It's just so much fun!
