Location
I took this at a large park in Iowa, that has many acres dedicated to preserving our natural prairies and wildflowers.Time
Early afternoon. Gorgeous, clear, windy day.Lighting
These flowers are speckled throughout the park, quite a few of them. Caught my eye.Equipment
You probably will be surprised. I believe it was my Kodak EasyShare Z710. (Or an older easyshare). This has 10x zoom, 7.1 megapixels. I'm sure I had it set on Auto, maybe macro. I am a total amateur, with a total love of photography. Almost all of my shots are with this Kodak. I've tried many other cameras, higher end, but still really love Kodak. Too bad they are not recognized, and out of business?Inspiration
I really wanted to get a shot of this flower with blue sky behind it.Editing
I'm sure I did some cropping, sharpen, contrast, maybe saturation. I try to do little editing on my "real" shots. In my camera bag
Camera, batteries, phone, cigarettes, lighter.Feedback
Just go for it! If it catches your eye, give it a try. I think I'm a good example that you don't have to have the best equipment or knowledge to try photography. I still have a lot to learn, and experimentation is a great teacher! Peace and Love to all!
