Location
This photo was taken from the inside of an old abandoned farm house. My sister and I love cruising the countryside looking for old barns and buildings.Time
This was early afternoon. After making sure I wouldn't fall through the floor, inside, this window caught my eye and it was a right light moment.Lighting
I think good lighting, when outside, is to always be looking for that perfect moment. I'm a little old-school in that I don't like to edit too much on pics, unless of course it is obviously and creatively an edit/manipulation.Equipment
This was taken with my Kodak EasyShare Z710. On Auto mode. As you can see by the enlarged photo, this camera has 7.1 megapixels. I've said it before and will again, I think Kodak is underrated. I'm just an amateur, but my Kodak takes great shots, as good as my Nikon or my Canon SLR. I also believe that a good eye is just as important as a good camera.Inspiration
I love looking into the past. One wonders who lived here? Where are they now? Did something tragic or wonderful happen?Editing
Very very little. Obviously I went towards black and white. In most of my shots, like this one, I maybe used sharpen, contrast, and lighten or darken. Don't get me wrong, I love to play around with editing and manipulation. But some shots beg to keep it real.In my camera bag
Honestly, usually my point and shoot camera, batteries, lighter, and a J.Feedback
Always have your camera with you! You never know when a great shot may present itself. Be aware of your surroundings, really LOOK. Have fun!
