Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on New Years Day. It was very difficult to photograph this considering the camera I had.

Time

It was night time the sun had just went down, and the I was waiting for it to get dark.

Lighting

Yes, indeed lighting was an issue considering that there were so many reflections from the lights to the balls shinning etc. I wanted to give a visual effect so that you can see me but that feeling of Christmas.

Equipment

I used my hands NO TRIPOD. My tripod broke because it was aluminum.

Inspiration

What really inspired me to take this picture is seeing other photographers on Instagram of Viewbug and I wanted to take a picture that told a story but also popped me out of the photo showing that I was there taking that photo on New Year's Day after the tree was still standing even after Christmas.

Editing

I did not have any post processing.

In my camera bag

Pentax Z-30 lens 200mm and your normal average lens.

Feedback

Yes lighting is very, very essential to up close shots because the lighting is then brighter in certain spots of a picture.
