I love trying to get birds in flight and ballancing shutter speed, ISO and aperature to get depth of field just right while blurring background with motion and focus.Editing
i shoot raw so i always do focus contrast and a little satutation. In my camera bag

I find the best time to shoot this kind of shot is when the sun is low on the horrizan. Use a faster ISO say 500. Have the camera on the most rapid fire setting possible and take lots of photos. Shots like this are the result of lots of practice. Throw any shot thats not perfect away and consentrate on perfecting the techique. Get the camera of the tripod for these shots, you need to be quick and pan smoothly.
