Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in city of joy(KOLKATA) in India. I am a moment seeker, I want to explore human and their life.

Time

It was my routine to get out with my camera and two friends on almost every. We remember waking up around 4 AM and covering a good distance on foot, through the branches of The Ganges river, searching for the perfect place and the perfect moment. But we couldn't find anything suitable which. I can remember it was around 8:30AM when I found it.

Lighting

There was normal daylight. I just set my camera ISO as per location light

Equipment

This was shot on a Nikon D5100 with a nikon AF-S 18-105 mm VR Lens.No other equipment was involved.

Inspiration

I was looking for a moment to shoot an old urban life. Here hand pulled rickshaw is symbolized old urban thing and location indicates old urban place .So picture defines old urban life.

Editing

I always shoot in RAW format as I feel it's easy to process the RAW ones. This photo was also taken in color & RAW, and I converted it into black and white during post processing.

In my camera bag

The first thing I always take my Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G Prime Lens(prime).Then I pack Nikon D5100 body with nikon AF-S 18-105 mm VR Lens.Another lens that always keep in my camera bag is Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55 - 300 mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Lens.Other equipments which I always keep with me are: an extra battery, extra memory cards, lens cleaning kit and a camera rain coat.

Just take a patience for perfect day or perfect moment with your camera .It should be clear which you want to capture.Keep your eyes wides open about everything like which are same in our every day's life and which different in every day's life. One day you can achieve your shot,yes your ultimate shot.That's all.
