As I lived a block from Waikiki Beach, I'd walk down each evening to catch the sunset. This is one of my favorites.Lighting
The sunsets on Waikiki Beach are amazing alot of the time, but when the Vog blows over from the Big Island (from the volcano), it can distort the sunsets, not always in a positive way.Equipment
I used a Canon handheld digital with no tripod or flash.Inspiration

I did no post processing. The colors in Hawaii are so gorgeous, you don't need to.iIn my camera bag
I now have a Canon 600D with 3 different lenses; a 50 portrait lens, a 75-300 lens, and a 75-300 Sigma lens. Also a tripod.Feedback
Watch for clouds in the sky as evening approaches as they always make for more interesting shots.
