Location
I took this shot in Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania. I had wished to spent in the Crater few days since i visited it for the first time. And I was happy to spent there 2 weeks this January.Time
I watched this fight before a sunset, at 16:56. You should leave a Crater at about 17:00.Lighting
The Crater is located at a height of 2286 above sea level, the weather there could change few times a day, so, there are always interesting light for different things. At this moment the sun had gone already, but light was soft and nice.Equipment
I used Nikon D4, lens 70-200 f/2.8 plus converter X2Inspiration
I spent a lot of time watching zebras's behavior. I love when they are playing, fighting and doing something crazy. At this time they were playing in the dust, and these dust clouds became a big extra gift plus to the fight.Editing
I did a ?rop, added more contrast, and played a little bit with color of grass. In my camera bag
I usually have zoom lens and wide angle lens. Plus few special things to clean lenses and camera.Feedback
You should just choose right settings and take a serial shots. And, be at the right place, at the right time!
