Location
I took this photo in a private studio of my good friend Emre in his compound in MidEast country. We planned to have a friendly collabs photoshoot and selected one of the finest models in the community.Time
This was during our weekend holiday and it was an indoor shoot.Lighting
We used one beauty dish and a snoot background light but during the photo processing i adjusted some elements and applies simple actions i.e. cropping, skin smoothing, and other adjustment layers. I want to look it innocent, alluring and sweet while here both hands slightly touching her cheeks but i cropped it to make it appear someone is holding her face.Equipment
The private studio were fully equipped with newly bought Broncho lights. I used that time a CANON 70D, 24-70mm Canon Lens.Inspiration
At this session (although we shot here outdoor as well), we focused on beauty shots. I then thought of using her hands as added props just to put drama instead of face at all. I got inspired the Madonna's Vogue dance steps where they used there hands moving around there faces. I taught her several hands movement to create an artistic poses etc. but i ended up choosing this pose.Editing
I used simple post-processing that time especially in this image ie skin smoothing, removing imperfections, adjustment layers and so on. However, i played around until i switched it into black and white and it appears to me stunning. I was happy.In my camera bag
That time i only had Canon 70D, 24-70mm, 50mm, 70-300mm, tripod and Lowepro camera backpack.Feedback
Of course, right lighting is important to achieve your goal ie enough illuminations, catch light and during the shots your mind is thinking already what possible output you would like to show especially in this case was a fun shoot only.
