This is the main road into Palo Duro Canyon State Park. I was there in July 2021, at the end of one of the best birthdays I've ever had. Even though I spent it alone I spent it doing one of the things I love best, traveling and exploring the world around me. I was making my way to Colorado for a family reunion, and stopped in Amarillo for 2 nights. I spent my birthday exploring Route 66, and ended it at Palo Duro Canyon State Park in the late afternoon
