Even though it was cold, I enjoyed driving with the window down

Behind The Lens

Location

I had just left Union Station in Denver, Colorado & since I was on a Greyhound bus, I always take the chance to take a few photos while along the Rocky Mountains. So while on the greyhound bus going to Salt Lake City, Utah to pick up a vehicle that I needed to transport to Phoenix, Arizona, I saw my chance to take a sort of OK color photo through a dirty bus window, & I played with the settings on my phone & I turned it into a black-and-white which looked better in my opinion. I was near the city of Erie Colorado on I-25 northbound on January 27, 2024

Time

I took this photo at 1325 military time which is 1:25pm on Jan. 27, 2024.

Lighting

I know the lighting was poor because I was on a bus with dirty windows. So I had to find a clean place in the window to be able to get this photo.

Equipment

Saturday • Jan 27, 2024 • 13:25 Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max Telephoto Camera — 77 mm £2.8 12 MP • 4032 × 3024 • 721 KB ISO 32. 307 mm. 0 ev. F 2.8 Erie, Colorado HEIF. 1/133 s

Inspiration

I always try to take photos anywhere near the Rocky Mountains as many as I can, & as often as I can. Because the Rocky Mountains especially along I-25 are like my home away from home. I have hiked this region growing up as a teen.

Editing

I would have to say yes because of the color photo does not do it justice & it looked better in black-&-white.

In my camera bag

Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max Telephoto Camera — 77 mm £2.8 12 MP • 4032 × 3024 • 721 KB ISO 32 307 mm Since I am a truck driver & I transport semi trucks, & a few repoed semi trucks. I do not carry a camera anymore except the one that is on my phone!

Feedback

1: Practice practice practice! 2: And if you are going down the highway, make sure you’re not the one driving & if so have them take the photo. Or just pull over before shooting the shot.
