I remember goin to my friends house in High School (2003-4’ish) and when we were hanging out he had this band playing on his computer. I looked over at the open Purevolume webpage with the band - Saosin (Jam Band). Loved all screamo aspects of what I was hearing, went home and listened to “Translating The Name” a million times. Continued to listen for a few more years, with unreleased tracks, new singers, following Anthony’s other projects, then managed to just listen here and there. Like I also saw my music taste changes over the years, but this is why I love being able to photograph shows now, it just takes me back to the artists I use to listen too and hopefully can share something visually fun to their fans. Now to present day, being able to actually see them live for once in my life and with Anthony Green was such a dream come true. Wish I had more time to watch their set that day. Hopefully I can get another chance to photograph them in the the future.
