Skyline Arch in Arches National Park Moab, Utah is easily reached on a flat sand and gravel trail and is only .04 miles round trip.
In 1940, a large boulder dropped from the arch's arc, essentially doubling the size of its opening. The arch is positioned in such a way that it's well lit most of the day. ©Copyright 2004 Lorraine Palumbo. All Rights Reserved.
