The city library at Mailänder Platz is the central library of the Stuttgart City Library. It offers a floor space of 20,200 m² and a program area of 11,500 m² and was opened on October 24, 2011. The construction costs amounted to almost 80 million euros, of which 4 million were for the interior design[1]. The architect of the project is the South Korean winner of the architectural competition, Eun Young Yi.
