In the fall, the Kokanee Salmon head from Lake Tahoe to spawn upstream at Taylor Creek. And, where there are thousands of salmon...there are probably lots of birds and bears!!! It was obvious that this black bear had climbed this huge Cottonwood Tree to take a nap with a full belly after a morning of eating salmon!
