This female Bald Eagle is coming in for a landing after doing a fly-over and scoping out the wetlands and their occupants below.
I am thrilled to be able to watch this mated pair of Bald Eagles. Hopefully they will have chicks in the spring!
This female Eagle has not yet reached maturity...she still has some color in her white head and some mottling on her yellow beak. She is a real beauty!
