The Torre de comunicacions de Montjuïc (The architect is Santiago Calatrava), also known as Torre Telefónica or Torre Calatrava, is a television tower on the Olympic site of Barcelona.
The 136 meter high tower was built in 1991 for the Olympic Games that took place in Barcelona the following year. It is located on Plaça d’Europa on Montjuïc, a mountain in the southwestern center of Barcelona.
The tower was commissioned by the Spanish telecommunications company Telefónica.
