To commemorate Kristallnacht 85 years ago, last Thursday 9-11-2023 a torchlight procession was organized from the Synagogue in Krystalgade to the Rigsdagsgården at Christiansborg in Copenhagen. Many political participants including the Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, and Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
When the event was over, a group of Palestinian women stood and shouted their case out to the gathering of people. The foreign minister discovers this and, in his quiet and calm manner, goes out to them and has a dialogue with them.
