A trip to the Phoenix Zoo and Botanical Gardens allowed us to see the lovely and unique Papago Mountains. Red sandstone geologcial formations formed some 6-15 million years ago. 'Hole-in-the-Rock, is a major landmarks eroded (openings - tagoni) eroded in the formation over times. In the foreground, the Arizona iconic Saguro Cactus.
