The first city attacked by Hannibal on his famous march to Rome in the second Punic war was a Roman ally called Saguntum, and some parts of the surviving castle date back at least to the Roman era. It was built on high ground, obviously, overlooking the coast, and part of that coast is now a nature reserve.

I visited the reserve with a guide from Valencia Birding and, seeing a harrier flying around and the castle standing out against the mountain, decided to try for this shot whenever the harrier was moving in roughly the right direction. One attempt actually came out to my satisfaction.
