I got lost driving some back country roads and came across this sunset on the tracks just near the end of the day. I loved the leading lines and the sunlight riding back along the tracks.

Location
This photo was taken in a small rural area just north of Pickering, Ontario.Time
This image was taken at just before sunset as the sun was setting in the west.Lighting
This whole image was dependent on catching the fading sunlight running towards me on the rails. It was both a physical and light pairing to provide a cool leading line into the setting sun.Equipment
Nikon D3300 with my kit lens, 18-50mm, at 22mm. Shutter speed was 1/320sec. ISO was 140. This was hand-held.Inspiration
It was the light glinting on the tracks as I drove across the railway crossing that caught my eye and made me want to capture the leading lines/image. I had wanted to do this before, on another road trip, but missed the timing. On this occasion, it was just perfect.Editing
Minimal. Converted to BxW, brought up the shadows somewhat and toned down the sun slightly. In my camera bag
My Nikon D3300. My two kit lenses, 18-50mm & 50-200mm. My GoPro 10 Black. That's my bag really.Feedback
Timing is everything. Find your spot, find your time to get the image you want and shoot, shoot, shoot.
