Storms on the Great Lakes rolling in unexpectedly, quickly, and the sight is unreal. Clouds crawling across the sky like a apparition, clawing at the pristine blues as if to tear them asunder. Those blues fading away as the misty fingers race across the sky on a north wind, soon the sun is pouring through those clouds backlight and burning orange, sprinkles of rain falling from overhead, wind kicking droplets off the lake itself as the people hurry to put those rain jackets on. Surely soon a storm would be rolling in. It wouldn’t be long after the sky would break, and the world bellow would be drenched in unrelenting waves of rain.
