Hi Greg. What a beautiful natural picture 🌳🍀🌳 I am \"feeling\" the winds, the waters, then understanding about the rocks \"breathing\" in front. Congratulations. Félicitations. Best regards. Marc 🍁🍀🍁💎

It,s quite mysterious.

Behind The Lens

Location

La Croix-Valmer in the south of France on the French Riviera

Time

The weather was bad, it's quite rare in my region, but it's a good time to practice photography in my opinion

Lighting

Gray weather, weak light in the middle of the day

Equipment

Photo taken with a Sony A7 IV, the lens is a 24-105 mm which opens at f4. A tripod and a variable ND filter

Inspiration

The weather conditions as often, bad weather is an opportunity more than a handicap in photography I think

Editing

I preferred the photo with the smoothed sea, so I used Photoshop to recover the original sky. For the rest it's a fairly standard post-processing but I spent a lot of time on it

In my camera bag

My Sony A7 IV, lens 24-105, 70-300 and a 14 mn. Different filters and accessories, remote control, flash

Feedback

Bad weather offers you unique opportunities to take our photos successfully. It doesn't work every time, it's sometimes difficult but it's worth it!
