The first morning after a week in Iceland where the sky wasn't just gray and overcast. However, there was a thick band of clouds on the eastern horizon, so the sunrise wasn't as spectacular as it could have been. On the other hand, Hvalnes is also a pretty drafty place and it's not every day that you get such a clear reflection of the Eystrahorn. That alone was worth getting up early and driving.
