Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on a camping trip this summer, up in the mountains in Quebec province, in Canada.

Time

It was end of August, sun was setting down fast. I was sitting in our camper and we just started to eat dinner, and I suddenly look up the window and jump off my seat, took my phone and put my shoes on. Hubby was confused, dogs went crazy, while I ran out the camper to be sworn by a cloud of mosquitoes, trying to get a good shot of the sunset.

Lighting

Natural light, with a little correction afterwards.

Equipment

Literally used my Pixel 6 pro cellphone.

Inspiration

I simply love sunrises and sunsets and the beautiful colors. While camping in the mountains near a lake, I always look at the sky showing off.

Editing

Not much, except correcting the light a little.

In my camera bag

While I do have a Sony camera, most of the time I use my phone which can take really great pictures.

Feedback

For me, it's more of being at the right place, at the right time kind of thing. My best shots were often when I wasn't expecting it.
