Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in our rehearsal space in Geelong, I'm also a musician so it provides me some great opportunities to photograph my band mates as we play

Time

It was around 9pm on a mid week night.

Lighting

I wanted this image to get dark and moody, there are these small l.e.d down lights in the studio, so I just positioned right and used my surroundings

Equipment

This was the first shot I took with my fujifilm x-h2 with the older 18-55mm kit lens

Inspiration

I've always loved the lighting in the rehearsal space and the moody essence, that it portrays.

Editing

A very small amount, I slightly adjusted the white balance to get it right and just pulled the sat down

In my camera bag

I always carry my fuji x-h2 aswell as my Canon ftb, with a 50mm f:1.4 fd mount lens for some film stuff.

Feedback
