On my Bucket List of things to see in Costa Rica was a Sloth. We had spent almost 2 weeks traveling the countryside, and although I saw amazing birds-animals, I only caught a small partial glimpse of a sloth. They were always so high up in the trees and hidden in the branches. I had just about given up hope of seeing one, when our van came around a corner and there, hanging from a branch along the side of the road was a young 3-toed Sloth!!! Wow, I was so excited!!!!! We stuck our lenses out of the windows, so as not to alarm the young animal, and quickly clicked away! It was worth the wait...such an adorable face!

We go to a banquet every year and got to see one up close from the Columbus zoo. They bring animals every year. That and the food is why I go, my husband gets a check for his 4-H group. They are slower than tar

It is an understatement, when I say I was SO excited to see this Sloth. Lol! Once spotted, they move SO SLOW it is easy to get a lot of shots. I'll post more \"poses\" slo-mo style! 😃😁
