On a trip to Charleston, South Carolina, USA, we visited Magnolia Plantation. It had beautiful gardens with the Ashley River flowing adjacent to the plantation. There was plentiful swamp land as well, and this photo shows some of that, including the stagnant water in the swamp itself.
