Location
This photo was recently made during a day long visit to the Eden Project Botanical Gardens in Cornwall, UK, with the different climate zones. It is mainly an environment for plants from all different places and climate zones on earth.Time
Time was 13:28 h in a great enclosed climate zone where mainly plants are the point of interest and attraction for visitors.Lighting
Available light as it was there.Equipment
FujiFilm-X T5 camera with XF 70-300 mm zoom at 485 mm (35 mm comparison). F/5.6 1/420 ISO:800. No flash, no tripod.Inspiration
Mostly a great collection of plants and trees. Spotted the green lizzard and waited to get it at the right spot to get a good view and make the shot.Editing
Used a linear profile based on a film-recipe specific for my camera and coupled with my favourite film (Kodachrome 64). Very basic and light processing in ACR and special processing in Photoshop with use of a very dark second layer to be able to "paint" the light back in there where needed and where I wanted it most.In my camera bag
Normally one camera as used here with one long tele-zoom and a number of fast primes.Feedback
A long tele-zoom is a very welcome addition when there is the need to be able to zoom and focus on details and objects at a certain distance when in a crowded environment or a dense forest or park like this botanical garden here. I always also use Auto-ISO to be able to zoom and focus as needed without having to worry about excessive noise or a shutterspeed that is too slow for manual shooting.
