Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photograph overlooking the Wetlands at Lara Station in the Queensland Outback.

Time

This was taken at around 6 am in the morning.

Lighting

I wanted to take an early photograph so the light of the sunrise would colour the sky and the reflections in the water.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D750 and a tripod

Inspiration

I knew The dead trees in the water would create brilliant reflections in the early light.

Editing

No post processing was required for this shot.

In my camera bag

I keep my Nikon d750 in my bag and two lenses. 25-70 and 70-300 telephoto.

Feedback

It’s worth getting up early to use shadow and light and reflection to create images over water that pop!
