During a recent drought the county did some road work with goal to reduce some low water crossings. The work created a temporary dam that created this swamp after the most recent rainfall. The hope is that they will create a culvert to direct this water into a stream that eventually spills into a major tributary of the White River Water system. This would be a good thing. Without the culvert though, this will become a disaster for the intersection of Cedar Road and Valentine Lane.
