This is not a fire in the sky... but an inferno. I took this photo at the base of Sierra Nevada on the McMurry Meadows trail. The peak on the right is named The Thumb... cuz it looks like a thumb. I luv summer sunsets in the Sierra but the winter sunsets are amazing.
