Morning by the Lake

A grasshopper nymph making its bed in the "poppy shell" left inside the flower when it shed it.

Found this "ice bird" when walking by a lake. It was an overcast day, so the overall tone is rather greyish, almost black and white.

Early Morning Mist

Loved to try and "catch" the bumble bees last summer.

Her brother just wants to play, she does not feel like it. He is a big, clumsy baby, she is a lady.

I love taking photos of cats (mine and others). In this one I like the thoughtful pose and the way the green of his eyes match the background.

The sun is setting,at four o'clock in the afternoon! It is - 25 C, but the running water in the strait is not frozen, so vapour lifts from it.
