Behind The Lens

Location

I took the photo in Salzburg. The waterfall is very easy to reach, but there are often a lot of people there.

Time

Since the sun only comes out at noon in this place, we decided on the early evening. This gave us soft light and no more visitors.

Lighting

The picture was taken in the evening with natural light.

Equipment

As we had to climb to this spot I only had my Canon Eos R6 with the RF 15-35 mm f2.8 with me

Inspiration

The picture is from a series. Artist in nature. Steffi is very close to nature. That is why we have also decided not to wear clothes

Editing

Actually I only adjusted the gradations and made her skin a bit more plastic with Dodge&Burn

In my camera bag

Most timer i use a Canon EOS R5 and a EOS R 6 My Lenses are RF 16-35 2,8 L; RF 34-70 2,8 L; RF 70-200 2,8 L; RF 85 1,2 L As Light most time i use two Profoto B10 or in the Studio Flashes from Bowens and a Fuji GFX

Feedback

For this picture we both climbed up a steep rock face and she is sitting about 20 metres high on this tree stump. We are both very experienced mountain climbers and yet we took a certain risk. Think about how far you want to go for a photo. No picture in this world is worth an accident. Safety first
