Built in 1923, this all concrete Art Deco themed Arch bridge, was the township of Innisfail's daily commute?? The bridge, despite being built to cater for horse and buggies, was carrying 2 lane traffic albeit very tightly for 88 years?? In 2010 the then council, decided that the bridge was too small and dangerous for the increased traffic of a modern era?? It was replace in 2011 with an Art Deco inspired version to complement the old.
